Course of route: Peiting, Rottenbuch, Schönbegg, Wildsteig, Wieskirche, Steingaden, Riesen, Kreut, Peiting.
Route: Cultural tour, hilly route, lots of uphill and downhill stretches, approx. 40 km
On this route along the Romantic Road, cyclists stream towards genuine cultural gems like the Abbeys of Steingaden and Rottenbuch and the World Heritage site of Wies. In between these gems, nature competes with an abundance of art to attract the visitors’ attention. A whole host of wonderful views also reward cyclists’ efforts along the way. This cycling tour runs along the well-marked “Romantic Road” cycle route, along the eastern variant in the first part and the western variant in the second. Don’t forget your camera!
